چکیده
The canine distemper virus (CDV), which infects dogs and a broad range of animal species, remains serious concern in Türkiye across the world. current study shows that CDV can be detected isolated rapidly specifically naturally infected dogs. Whole blood, nasal swab, ocular rectal urine samples from 50 stray were used (n = 250). presence genome was confirmed 105 (42%) using one-Step real-time RT-PCR. In total, 39 diagnosed with infection based on detection cytopathic effects MDCK, verified by fluorescent antibody technique. A total 12 RT-PCR negative samples, consisting 4 swabs 8 found to positive isolation. Blood, swab (P<0.01, r 1), 0.844), 0.697) all showed correlations tests for viral CPE levels high 37 (31.62%), medium 26 (22.23%) low 54 (46.15%) 117 (46.8%) growth cell culture. highest FAT samples. conclusion, one-step method proved very sensitive rapid reliable detection. Besides, non-modified MDCK isolate

Molecular and Serological Detection of Canine Distemper Virus (CDV) in Rural Dogs, Iran
Background and Aims: Canine distemper (CD) is a deadly infectious disease of Canidae family. CD is a multi-systemic viral disease and is specified by wide range of clinical symptoms. The manifestations are not always indicative of CD, therefore a laboratory confirmation is necessary for suspected cases. Materials and Methods: Different clinical specimens of 19 CD suspected unvaccinated dogs wer...

متن کاملMolecular detection of Neospora caninum from naturally infected dogs in Lorestan province, West of Iran
Neospora caninum is a coccidian protozoan that causes abortion in dairy and beef cattle and neurological disorders in dogs and horses. To identify N. caninum oocysts in the dog feces the molecular approaches are known as sensitive methods that specifically detect the oocysts. In present study, a polymerase chain reaction (PCR) targeting N. caninum specific Nc5 genomic fragment was performed to ...
متن کاملMolecular and phylogenetic analyses of the haemagglutinin (H) proteins of field isolates of canine distemper virus from naturally infected dogs.
We isolated three strains of canine distemper virus (CDV)--the Ueno, Hamamatsu, and Yanaka strains--from dogs in Japan and analysed the molecular properties of their haemagglutinin (H) proteins. Immunoprecipitation of all three strains with a monoclonal antibody revealed H proteins with molecular masses of 84 kDa, which differs from the molecular mass (78 kDa) of the H protein of the Onderstepo...
متن کاملDetection of Arctic and European cluster of canine distemper virus in north and center of Iran
Canine distemper virus (CDV) creates a very contagious viral multi-systemic canine distemper (CD) disease that affects most species of Carnivora order. The virus is genetically heterogeneous, particularly in section of the hemagglutinin (H) gene. Sequence analysis of the H gene can be useful to investigate distinction of various lineages related to geographical distribution and CDV molecular ep...
